Classes at the Navan/Orleans Branch are run under the direction of Heather MacCulloch Forbes.

All directors and teachers are certified with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing(BATD) In addition to their teaching experience, they have all performed both locally and internationally with our performing troupe The MacCulloch Dancers

The MacCulloch Dancers have returned from a very successful tour in Hungary where they represented Canada in the International Folklore Festival and Folkart Fair 2011. Their performances were described as "perfect", "excellent", and "a great success" by festival organizers. The mayor of Diosd expressed his gratitude saying the people of his town were deeply touched having seen our style of dance for the first time and that we would be in their memories forever. The MacCulloch Dancers danced with "love in their hearts" and "it showed". This sentiment was reverberated throughout the towns of Százhalombatta, Ráckeve and Tököl. We would like to thank the general director of Summerfest, Joseph Szigetvári, for the opportunity of participating in this most enriching and outstanding festival

Please note that the Navan/Orleans Branch of the MacCulloch School of Dancing will be accepting new students for the 2011-2012 season. Our performing arts program will provide training and performance opportunities in both Highland and Traditional Canadian Step Dancing. While younger students, beginning at the age of eight years, will have opportunities to perform locally, more experienced dancers will be offered opportunities to perform both locally and abroad

Classes for the 2011-2012 season will run from November 1st, 2011 to June 28th, 2012. Classes for students 8 to 12 years old will be offered on Tuesdays. Teen and adult classes will be offered on Wednesdays. *** Please note that students under eight years old who have been registered with the MacCulloch School of Dancing in the previous year will be included in the 2011-2012 program***
