Classes at the Navan/Orleans Branch are run under the direction of Heather Forbes.
All directors and teachers are certified with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. In addition to their teaching experience, they have all performed both locally and internationally with our performing troupe The MacCulloch Dancers.
Classes are offered in both Highland Dance and Traditional (Celtic) Step Dancing.
Classes are offered to children and teens Monday to Thursday evenings. Beginner Highland classes are available on Mondays and Thursdays. Beginner Step classes are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. Classes are divided by age at the beginner level.
In addition to training for the performing arts, we also offer a successful program in Competitive Highland Dancing. Both Highland and Step dancers are prepared for B.A.T.D. amateur and professional examinations. Advanced students are offered opportunities for local performances and international travel.
