The MacCulloch School of Dance was founded in 1955 by Rae
MacCulloch of Glengarry County, Ontario. The first classes taught by Rae
were in a small country kitchen (picture that) in your typical eastern
Ontario farmhouse. Since that time, this school of highland and traditional step dance
has provided high quality dance instruction, and has warmed
the hearts of millions of people throughout the world with their dazzling high
energy public performances. Appearances include Spain/Utah in 1997, Disney World 1990 - 1992 and 1995, Chicoutimi, Quebec 1994, The Republic of China 1994, Puerto Rico 1993 and Utah and Idaho 1992.

Together with her two daughters; Heather Forbes
and Deborah Wheeler and her granddaughter Kendra Forbes, the school has expanded to four branches throughout
eastern Ontario, and together, they continue to share their talent with
youngsters and adults alike. Most importantly though, the MacCulloch family is preserving the heritage of their home-lands by passing on the traditional celtic dance
and music of Canada and Scotland.
