On Saturday July 31st, 2004, the MacCulloch School of Dance attempted to break a Guinness World Record for the 'Largest Massed Performance of Highland &Step Dance'. Although 513 dancers registered for the attempt in the months and even in the hours prior to the attempt, 505 dancers and two musicians took to the field for 5 minutes and 13 seconds in an absolutely spectacular display of celtic dance !

We would like to thank the Glengarry Pipe Band, Rob Taylor and Jackie Smith for their musical accompaniment.
